White blood cells usually suggest urinary tract infection or inflammation. Epithelial cells are normally present in small numbers, but increased amounts may indicate contamination or kidney disease. Casts are cylindrical structures formed in kidney tubules and can indicate various kidney disorders. Bacteria presence, especially with white blood cells and positive nitrites, strongly suggests urinary tract infection. Crystals can be normal or pathological depending on the type, urine pH, and clinical context.
